S500MC flats have excellent strength properties along with high impact toughness to improve resistance to static and dynamic shock loads during equipment operation. The low carbon content enables all welding techniques without preheating. The rolled products are sold in sheets.

Applications
Transport engineering
S500MC high strength steel is effective in the manufacture of truck chassis and dump truck bodies. It allows truck manufacturers to produce lightweight chassis and semi-trailers with higher payloads.
Lifting equipment
High strength steel sheets are used for lifting equipment components, where special structural strength is required. S500MC is recommended for mobile crane structures, hydraulic lifts and semi-trailers. S500MC mechanical properties allow designers of attachments and lifting equipment to achieve optimum structural and production-friendly elements.
Agricultural equipment (frameworks)
